Who we are

A small Texas firm with a long memory.

HPS Holding was founded in 2009 by James Myers, a third-generation North Texan who grew up watching his father restore brick bungalows along Abram Street. What started as a single duplex on East Cedar Elm Drive has grown — slowly, deliberately — into a portfolio of more than two hundred properties stretching from Fort Worth to Mesquite.

We are not the largest property firm in Tarrant County, and that is on purpose. Every account is touched by someone whose name you will know. Every roof, condenser, lease, and landscaping contract is handled by people who live within thirty miles of the building. We answer the phone when it rings, and we return calls before the day is out.

The firm is licensed in Texas, insured for general liability and professional indemnity, and a member in good standing of the National Association of Residential Property Managers. Our books are audited annually by a Dallas-based CPA firm. The way we earn trust is the way we keep it: quietly, and on time.

What we do

Four practices, one standard of care.

Our service lines were built around the questions owners actually ask us: who will rent it, who will fix it, who will lease the storefront downstairs, and what is the building worth next year.

Residential Property Management

Residential Property Management

Full-service oversight for single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes. Tenant placement, monthly statements, 24/7 maintenance dispatch, and annual condition reports.

Commercial Leasing & Asset Care

Commercial Leasing & Asset Care

Retail strips, small office, and light-industrial holdings managed with a leasing-broker's eye. Market reviews, CAM reconciliation, and proactive lease renewals.

Facility Maintenance & HVAC

Facility Maintenance & HVAC

An in-house Texas-licensed crew handling plumbing, electrical, roofing, and seasonal HVAC tune-ups. Preventative schedules tailored to each building.

Owner Concierge & Advisory

Owner Concierge & Advisory

Quarterly portfolio reviews, refinance prep, cost-segregation referrals, and insurance reviews for owners who want an active operating partner.

Licensed & insured

Texas real-estate broker license #9012437. $2M general liability and E&O coverage on every account.

Locally staffed

All nineteen of our employees live within Tarrant County. No call-centers, no outsourced after-hours line.

Quietly accountable

Quarterly written reviews. Plain-English statements. The same point of contact for the life of your account.

Where we work

Rooted in North Texas.

Our office sits at 1810 East Cedar Elm Drive in Arlington, a short drive from Randol Mill Park. From there our crews cover Tarrant and eastern Dallas counties — a radius small enough that a technician can be on site within an hour.

In our owners' words

Sixteen years of quiet referrals.

James and his team took over my mother's duplex in Pantego after a frustrating run with a national firm. The first month's statement was actually legible.
Margaret H.
Owner, Pantego
We hold three small office buildings off Cooper Street. HPS handles the leasing and the parking-lot work. Same person picks up the phone every time.
David K.
Managing Partner, Cornerstone Equity
Honest, conservative, and they tell you when something isn't worth fixing. The kind of property manager you stay with for twenty years.
Linda R.
Homeowner, Mansfield
