HPS Holding was founded in 2019 by Sushil L Davies, a career operator with more than two decades of experience across industrial services, consumer businesses and healthcare-adjacent enterprises. What began as a personal advisory practice for a handful of trusted founders has grown into a lean, senior firm of former CFOs, transaction lawyers and integration leaders.
We remain deliberately small. Every engagement is led by a partner, and no partner carries more than four active mandates at a time. This is not a scale business. It is a craft.

Sushil founded HPS Holding in 2019 after more than two decades working alongside owners and operators of privately held American businesses. He started his career on the operating side — running finance and commercial teams in industrial services — before spending eight years on the transaction side, advising on more than $600 million of combined middle-market activity.
He lives in Milwaukee with his family, serves on two community boards and remains a working advisor first and a firm leader second. Every engagement HPS accepts is one he personally reviews.
